Puzzled?

Sometimes we are torn between the things that we WANT to do and the things that we MUST do. Be it working, studying or staying at home, getting a new career, rising from a fall, or just being carefree for awhile. We want to do things but due to time constraintย or the lack of resources we are holding back.

How about you, what’s your life questions?

SUPERSTAR

How long will I wait for you to be called mine?
how long will I dream for a love that never fonder,
I ‘m just a fan, only watching you from afar,
Though I can see every smile you gave,
Though I can hold your hands and hug you for awhile,
Though I can kiss you each night before we bade goodbye,
But deep inside me I feel something is lacking,
Aย fear that slowly creeping in,
A fear of losing you, a fear that just any other fans you’ll soon forget.

You said you loved me even more than her,
You said you won’t let me go away,
But just a star, that is shining so bright now,
Might one day lose its strength and soon will fade,
I’m just your star gazer from down the earth,
Fascinated even I am amazed, of being content to just watch you shine,
Even if I stretch my arms to try to reach you,
Or even ride a space rocket to try to get you,
Just like star gazers studying the stars every move,
When one left you’ll hardly notice it,
You’re too far and will crush if you try to reach down.

I’m your dream, she is your reality
dreams fade when reality steps in,
But dreams come back and
we don’t know why,
Dreams change when reality changes,
But dream is the force which keeps you hoping.

Realize that I can be real,
Snatch me from the crowd of your fans,
Come down from up the clouds,
So you could reach me and together we will make dreams come true. .

If I Could

It has been decades since I really wanted to compile my poems into a book either self-publishing or via an official publisher. Now, we are on lockdown, maybe this is the time to finally write it down on soft copies and finally, compile to a e-book.

All of these poems were made from the heart and inspired from true stories. All those years, most of the persons in these poems have never read it, as much as I would want to but I didn’t have the nerve to share directly haha!

Anyway, I hope u enjoy readingย ๐Ÿ˜

IF I COULD

If I could only bring back the time
When your hand touches mine,
If I could only hold you once again,
Whenever you wanted to cry.

If I could only hold back the time,
I will never, ever let you go
If I could only bring those memories,
To come back now, I will not let it go.

I wish I had done what I ought to done,
So I could still feel you in my arms
I wish I had done the right thing for you,
So I can still feel you beside me.

If I could let you know,
The things I wanted to say,
If I could only let it show,
Maybe you should think of me.

If I could only bring you back to me,
I will spent all my time with you,
If I could only make you love me,
I will cherish you with all my heart.

I wish I could only do these things,
These crazy things I’ve been trying to hide
I would have spent my best time with you,
I wish I could, I wish I might.

A message from my Millenial Mama

I opened up my site for my mother who also loves to write but didn’t have the “know-how” of blogging in the digital form, so I said to her to write an article and I will post it on my website. So to my surprise, this is her first contribution. My mother by the way is already in her golden age, but we can call her a “Millenial Mama” cause she is so adept in using Facebook, lol. Anyway, here’s her first contribution, and hopefully she can share more of her insights for the young generation.

To my daughter and apos whom I have not seen often. Even though you’re quite far away my thoughts are always with you. The day does not pass by that I don’t think of you, your safety and welfare. Every night I pray that God will protect you wherever you go and you will draw closer to Him by God’s grace and mercy. I miss my grand kids very much and how I wish they are always by my side. Colene be good always and obey your parents. Conan I wish you will grow to be a good boy. Pray always to God. To my daughter even sometimes we don’t see eye to eye I have your best interest at heart. I love you all.

I’m a Writer – A Poetry

I’m a writer

I’m a writer by heart,

I’m a writer by soul,

My mind is full of ideas,

Of imaginations,

Of wishful thinkings,

Of bravery,

Of sorrow,

Of happiness,

Of learnings,

Of experiences.

Inside me I have so many things to share,

To my readers,

I hope you are there.

I’m a writer,

Full of emotions,

The idealism and inspiration overflow.

I’m a writer,

But don’t get me wrong,

I can’t stand to write what my beliefs

contradicts,

I just write what my mind and heart knows

and believes in,

I’m a writer,

Where will my passion take me?

I may not earn enough from this,

So please don”t bargain my works,

I’m a writer,

Started from pen and paper,

I’m a writer,

In the digital world, now coping.

The Light by Jenny Medenilla

Alone in a vast world of dreams,

Conquering everything the dark touches,

Wishing I could see the light.

I wander afar off,

Every land I have been,

Moving from one place to another,

Catching every flying thing,

My naked eyes could see.

I ran miles away,

From one end to end,

I looked for water,

For rivers, streams,

Or even oceans and seas.

I drunk from there,

I was relieved but still

I walked away.

I ran through the forests,

I saw every wild animal,

The flowers, the trees.

But still I canโ€™t see the light,

It was dark in the forest,

I ran away, so far awayโ€ฆ

Blagโ€ฆโ€ฆ I fell

Fallen in a deep sleep

I found peace in my sleep,

No trouble, no rules,

I am free at last!

But still I didn’t see

The light Iโ€™m looking for,

A hand touched me,

I woke up and thereโ€™s

Somebody beside me,

Someone whom Iโ€™ve

Never known, so caring,

So kind and angel-faced,

I find comfort in,

His arms, secured,

Happy and Peaceful,

The dark world of mine faded,

And then I saw the LIGHT.

In Him, whom my soul

Is searching for,

The LIGHT is the love,

Rested in every heart,

I found it,

Now Iโ€™m not alone

Life is Awesome, LIVE IT!

Feeling happy and strong?

Share it to others
Inspire and empower.

Feeling down and hopeless?
Look up to the sky, and pray,
Bow down, knees on the ground, Pray.

Feeling youthful and active?
Help the community,
Lead the elders.

Feeling old and weak?
Look to the young,
Share your knowledge.

Life is short, they say,
So short to be wasted,
So short to be lonely,
Go out and explore!
Everyday is a new day!

Life is hard and diffucult,
Challenge yourself when it is,
Thank yourself for the effort,
Thank God for the small blessings.

Life is wonderful, seize it!
Breathe in the air,
Feel the present moment,
Be glad for what you have.

In a snap of a second,
You’ll never know what will happen,
So be always grateful,
silent wishes is powerful.

LIFE IS AWESOME, LIVE IT!
Believe in yourself, You can make it!

And she is Julie…

My mother, she is like no other,
Simple yet so sweet,
Strict oh yes, she is!
